The clarity of the project structure can also be improved by displaying the names of immediate summary tasks assigned to the respective resources; additionally, the read-only "Summary Task Name" field can be added to the table area in the "Resource Usage" view.

Easy linking of processes

With MS Project Professional 2021, linking individual tasks is particularly easy. While previously knowing a task's ID was required to create a link, now it's sufficient to select the corresponding cell in the "Predecessors" column and use the arrow to display a list of all tasks for the project. The task hierarchy corresponds to the defined sequence in a project, so users only need to scroll to the desired task and activate the corresponding checkbox. The "Successors" column can be used similarly.

Accessibility in MS Project 2021 Professional

Project 2021 Professional Edition also includes a number of accessibility improvements that facilitate both individual work and communication with colleagues with disabilities.
